Getting Busy! – 4 New Works From Greenfields Artists

Busy, busy, busy. Here at The Greenfields, we have been preparing frantically for our 1st anniversary celebrations over the past few weeks, but it seems we have not been alone in our burst of productivity. Four of our previous visiting artists have finished or released trailers for new works in the last month!

Former residents Psycho & Plastic have just uploaded their brand new remix of Die Antwoord’s ‘Dis Iz Why I’m Hot’. The track is free to download and comes complete with its own tough hangin’ music video.

Greenfields regular Franka Sachse has just premiered her latest film ‘The Ends of the Earth’ in England and has put a teaser trailer up online for those who can’t wait until its next screening at the Kassel Dokfest in November.

Musician and video artist Lvis Mejía has just released a new track as part of the Blind Tapes series and is currently developing new projects in America.

And finally…Greenfields Studio house band Irk Yste have just uploaded a new video from their recent live performance at the Chemnitz Forum.

Irk Yste, Franka Sachse and a host of other Greenfielders will be playing at The Greenfields Studio first birthday extravaganza on Friday 12.10.11 and will be running workshops at the studio on Saturday 13.10.12 – come check them out!

Still from Franka’s animated short film, ‘The Ends of the Earth’.
